Jazleen Hunter, originally from the South side of Chicago, Illinois, started her dance journey in high school exploring genres such as Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Ballet. She joined her first dance company, Full- Effect Dance Theatre, during sophomore year of High School where she deepened her knowledge in the Hip-Hop genre. Shortly after graduating, she decided to take her journey even further. Jazleen began to train with phenomenal instructors & choreographers such as Dome Lorusso (Hip- Hop/Jazz Funk) and Lady Sol Garcia (Reggae Dancehall). She has also trained with Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre in their summer intensive focusing on African, Ballet, Modern, and Contemporary styles of dance.

Recently Jazleen relocated to Atlanta to further her journey and is currently back home in Chicago where she continues to strive for that dream. Jazleen has participated in various performances within Chicago as well as Atlanta, GA working with people such as Jennifer Hudson, Mindless Behavior's Prodigy, Blake Martin, Travis T-Roc Wright, Shawn Holmes, DLow, Smino and more. Currently Jazleen continues to train, remaining a student, while also working to pass on that knowledge to others as well as pursue her career in dance.
